Coal Terminal Phase-2 Project is located in the West coastline of the first port of Tangshan Port Caofeidian Harbor Area, north of the coal wharf start-up project. The Car-dumper Shed is a multi-sided structure, about 49m long, 62m wide, and about 20m deep. The length of corridor is about 160m and the width of corridor is 32.7m. The construction began in 2010 and was completed in 2011. A 75kW vibroflot is used to do the vibro compaction. This project adopted double-point vibroflotation method with equilateral triangle arrangement. The vibration point spacing at the track beam is 2.2m, the vibration point spacing at the yard is 2.5m and the treatment depth is 20-21m. The vibroflotation can eliminate the problem of soil liquefaction within deep soil layers.

The project is located on the south bank of Dalian Bay and on the east side of Dalian Port. It is about 1km away from the main channel of Dalian Port to the north. The project is open to the sea on the east side, and the rest directions are covered by land. The construction began in 2011 and was completed in 2012. The construction technology is vibro-stone column with a diameter of 1.2m and a total of 212,000m. After ground improvement, the bearing capacity of composite foundation is ≥200kPa.
