Inner Mongolia Wula Mountain Power Plant Phase III Vibro Stone Column Project

Our company has completed the ground improvement of the main workshop, air cooling island, furnace area, chimney, desulfurization island, coal conveying system, ash warehouse and gasification fan room, office building, boiler room, centralized control building and other areas of the 2X300MW Wulashan Power Plant expansion project. The construction began on August 21, 2003 and was completed on May 11, 2005. For the first time, the vibro-stone columns were used in the strata with shear strength less than 20kPa. The construction of 22,627 vibro-stone columns was completed with an engineering volume of about 200,000m. The bearing capacity of foundation meets the design requirements.

Vibroflotation Ground Improvement of Dam Foundation of Dalong Water Control Project

Hainan, China

This project is located in Dalong town, Ningyuan river, Sanya city, Hainan province. The dam is a compacted soil dam with a height of 76m. All foundation of the dam shall be treated with vibroflotation, with a treatment area of 150,000m2, the maximum treatment depth of 18m, and a total engineering volume of 213,000m. The construction began on December 13, 2004 and was completed on April 10, 2005. The geological conditions of the stratum were complex, which were mainly coarse sand and clay layers containing gravel, with high gravel content and large particle size. According to the characteristics of complex stratum with high gravel content, conventional high-power electric vibroflot combined with hydraulic vibroflot is adopted in vibro construction, which effectively solves the difficulty of pore-forming in gravel coarse sand stratum and ensures the construction quality. This project won the "Luban Award" in 2009 and the "Dayu Award" in 2010.

Sinopec Yizheng 150,000 Cubic Meter Storage Tank Vibroflotation Ground Improvement Project

The project is located in Yizheng City, Jiangsu Province, China, with two 150,000m3 storage tanks, which is currently the largest storage tank in China. The project adopted vibroflotation ground improvement with a depth of 13~-9m and a total engineering volume of 95,000m. The construction began on March 28, 2004 and completed on May 04, 2004. The characteristics of the stratum are as follows: the surface layer is cultivated soil, muddy soil, and below the ground surface is cohesive soil. According to the characteristics of complex strata, long spiral perforation and high-power vibroflot were adopted. This project won the honor of "2007 Sinopec Excellent Engineering Award".

Ground Improvement Project of Jilin Hunjiang Power Plant Ash Storage Field

The ground improvement project of hunjiang Power Plant's ash storage field is located in Tongtiangou, southeast of Hunjiang Power Plant, in Baishan City, Jilin Province. The ground improvement of the ash storage field is strengthened by vibro-stone column, and the treated area is about 35,000m2. Construction was carried out in two phases, starting on August 15, 1999 and completed on June 23, 2010. Engineering amount: 9,146 vibro-stone column, with a total footage of 103,170.5m. Handle the shallow area 4,500m3, 12,090m3 of bedding is completed. The foundation of ash storage field is strengthened by vibroflotation to meet the design requirements.
