Hong Kong International Airport Third Runway C3206 Marine Clay Mixing Project

Under the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong Airport Authority, this project is contracted to a consortium comprising ZHEC-CCCC-CDC JV and involves marine clay mixing for ground reinforcement. The process incorporates a mix of marine clay, public fill material, and dry cement, with a specified volume ratio of 65:28:7.
The project utilizes approximately 370,000 cubic meters of marine clay, with the work scheduled to take place between March 2024 and July 2024. This effort enhances the stability and load-bearing capacity of the reinforced area, ensuring successful implementation of the project.

Tankou River Comprehensive Improvement of Xinhua River in Luxi County, Pingxiang

The total storage capacity of Qingshuiyuan Reservoir is 22,140,000m3. It is a medium-sized reservoir, and the installed capacity of supporting two-stage power station is 4000kW and 2000kW respectively. The power station is Small (2) type. The main task of reservoirs was to flood control, combined with water supply, power generation and other comprehensive utilization.The project is mainly composed of dams (including water-retaining structures and discharge structures), power generation and water diversion structures, power plants, raw water pipelines and other buildings. The barrage dam type is a concrete double-curvature arch dam with a height of 89.5m. The construction started in July 2019 and is currently under construction.

The comprehensive improvement project of river environment in the central city of Luxi County mainly includes: comprehensive improvement project of Xinhua River and Tankou River. Among them, the Xinhua River flood control standard is once in 20 years; the downstream section of the Tankou River New 320 National Highway Bridge is once in 20 years; the upstream section is once in 10 years; the waterfront design flood standard is once in 20 years. The engineering grade is IV, the main building grade is 4, and the secondary building grade is 5. The construction started at the end of March 2018 and is currently under construction.

The main construction of the project is a 12*52m concrete pouring hydraulic dam, which is constructed in strict accordance with the current specifications. The river treatment construction is based on the actual situation on the site, a reasonable and effective construction plan is formulated, and the environmental protection requirements are strictly followed. The newly-built sewage pipe network adopts the latest PVC material pipe and the construction technology of outsourcing concrete, and strictly implements the technical specifications for the construction of municipal sewage pipe network.

The treatment section of the Xinhua River has a length of 3.15km, mainly including river dredging and widening, ecological slope protection; new flood control walls; demolition of the dam; new roads along the river; and greening along the river. The treatment section of the Tankou River has a length of 3.27km, which mainly includes river dredging and widening, ecological slope protection; new embankments and flood control walls; reconstruction of the dam; greening along the river; and new sewage interception pipelines.
