This project, overseen by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, was executed under the general contractor China Harbor Engineering Company Limited. It represents another significant initiative by our company in the field of geological exploration and land surveying in Hong Kong.
The scope of work involved drilling exploration operations, carried out from August 2022 to December 2022. A total of 155.26 meters of exploration holes were successfully completed during this period, providing critical geological data for the project.
Entrusted by GEOSURVEYS, the Angola Company of Overseas Business Division conducted the geotechnical investigation for the proposed Angola Conference Center Project during the detailed investigation stage. The project is located in the Kilamba area of Luanda, with the investigation scope encompassing 55 boreholes at depths ranging from 10 meters to 50 meters.
The investigation primarily utilized drilling as the main method, supplemented by standard penetration tests (SPT), sampling, and indoor geotechnical testing. The collected data was used to compile and submit a comprehensive geotechnical investigation report to the project owner, providing essential insights for the project’s development.
