Predecessor Organizations (1976-1999)

1976

The Vibroflotation Team of Beijing Survey and Design Institute was affiliated with Beijing Electric Power Corporation (BJEC), a subsidiary of the Ministry of Electricity and Water Resources of China.

1994

The company was restructured into an independent legal entity—Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Company—holding a second-level construction enterprise certification.

1996

The company obtained a first-level construction enterprise certification, with a focus on foundation and infrastructure construction.

The Pioneer Years (1999-2003)

1999

The company was established as a shareholding system to diversify its shareholders. After recapitalization, it merged with a geotechnical company that was also affiliated with BJEC, enhancing its technological capabilities, talent, and capital. Later that same year, it was officially listed and renamed Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BJ Vibro).

2000

BJ Vibro increased its capital and shares, with registered capital rising from 30 million RMB to 60 million RMB.
In the same year, BJ Vibro expanded its business by undertaking several national key projects, including the Seepage Control Project for the Yangtze River embankment and the Seepage Control and Curtain Grouting Project for the Three Gorges Canal Lock. These projects laid a strong foundation for the company’s growth in the water resources sector.

The Road of Development (2003-2018)

2003

BJ Vibro took on an unprecedented challenge by undertaking the TBM1 construction section of the national key project, the Liaoning Dahuofang Reservoir Water Transfer Project, with a contract value of RMB 417 million. A young and dynamic team was dispatched to tackle numerous difficulties, including inexperience and manpower shortages, embarking on more than six years of hard work. The successful execution of this project marked the company’s formal entry into the field of TBM construction for hydraulic tunnels.

2004

The company experienced rapid growth in the field of thermal power plant pile foundations, successfully completing projects such as the pile foundation for the main plant area of Zhejiang Zheneng Lanxi Power Plant, the irrigation pile project for Zhejiang Datang Wusha Mountain Power Plant, and the first phase of Guangdong Datang Chaozhou Sanbai Mountain Power Plant. The high-quality and efficient completion of these projects established a strong foundation for taking on similar projects in the future.

2006

The company successfully passed the “Three Standards” integrated management system certification, obtaining certifications in Occupational Health and Safety Management, Environmental Management, and Quality Management from the Huaxia Certification Center.
In the same year, BJ Vibro undertook the Basic Treatment Subcontract Project (Sections 1, 2, and 5) of the SC2 Algerian Condensate Project, marking the company’s first venture into the overseas market.

2008

The company quickly advanced in the thermal power plant pile foundation sector, successfully completing several major projects. These included the pile foundation for the main plant area of Zhejiang Zheneng Lanxi Power Plant, the irrigation pile project at Zhejiang Datang Wusha Mountain Power Plant, and the first phase of the Guangdong Datang Chaozhou Sanbai Mountain Power Plant. The successful and efficient completion of these projects established a strong foundation for future similar endeavors.

2011

TThe company won the bid for the offshore dry bottom feed vibro stone column project on the artificial island of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, with a contract value of approximately HK$184 million. This project marked the company’s recognition in both domestic and international markets for its technical equipment, application capabilities, and project performance. It also signified the company’s entry into the Hong Kong and Southeast Asian markets.

2016

Our teams independently developed four products that were awarded patent certificates by the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China. These include the Deep Cement Mixing Pile Construction Data Monitoring Device, a Marine Bulk Cement Storage, Conveying, and Mixing System, a Removable Combined Pile Frame Lifting and Piling Vessel, and a New Two-Axis Cement Mixing Pile Drilling Device. These patented technologies were successfully implemented in the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge projects, where they delivered substantial practical benefits.

2018

BJ Vibro expanded its core business to include “Construction General Contracting” and “Urban Landscaping” and successfully attained the highest level of certification in standardized water conservancy safety production.

Stride Towards Excellence (2021-Today)

2021

Our company underwent a strategic rebranding and was renamed Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Co., Ltd. This change marked a significant milestone in the company's evolution. This move furthur strengthened the company's positioning in both domestic and international markets.

Prospect

To date, Beijing Vibro has evolved into a comprehensive state-owned construction company, with business operations spanning various sectors, including general contracting of engineering construction, engineering survey and design, as well as the development, application, and promotion of new technologies and piling equipment.

Over the past 40 years, despite numerous challenges and obstacles, the company has never wavered in its commitment to progress.
